  • Blue Line light rail extension from I-485/South Boulevard to Centrum Parkway extending to Carolina Place in Pineville.
  • Light rail will provide access close to the airport and connect to commuter rail in Uptown.
  • Future light rail extension is proposed from Carolina Place to Ballantyne.
  • Route 19 Park Road improved to 15-minute frequency.
